The Cubs faced off against the Cincinnati Reds, and it was a challenging day for our Cubbies at Wrigley Field.

A decisive 7th inning from the Reds saw Spencer Steer propel a three-run homer driving the Reds up to a 4-1 lead.
Santiago Espinal's sac fly added another, making it 5-1. Our pitchers had a hard time containing their lineup despite some solid strikeouts and defense. The Cubs couldn’t manage to muster any more offense, with the game wrapping up in the 9th without any further fireworks from our side.Though today wasn't our day, there's always tomorrow, and these heart-stopping moments remind us why we love the game so dearly!
