Tough Loss Against the Cubs 
Oh man, Reds fans! It was a tough day in Chicago as we faced off against the Cubs. Despite our hopes, we just couldn't get the bats going today.Promising Start 
The game kicked off with Spencer Steer reaching second after a fielding error by Matt Shaw. It was looking promising, but unfortunately, Elly De La Cruz and Austin Hays were unable to capitalize, and we ended the first inning scoreless.Struggles in the Inning 
Seiya Suzuki gave the Cubs an early lead with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning, but things started to slip away from us in the later innings. Suzuki homered in the 6th before Dansby Swanson and Ian Happ piled on more runs with homers of their own.Not Enough Offense 
While TJ Friedl had a couple of sharp singles, and Hays managed to bring him around to score in the 9th, the Cubs pitchers held our lineup in check all afternoon. We're going to need to shake off the dust for the next game and get some runs on the board early.Looking Ahead 
This wasn't the result we wanted, but we're not giving up. We've got more baseball ahead, and we know our Reds can bounce back from this. Let's rally together and bring the energy to the next matchup! Go Reds!
