Dominant Cubs' Third Inning Shines Bright!
Hey Cubbies fans! What a fantastic win for our Chicago Cubs against the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field! The magic truly kicked off in the bottom of the 3rd inning. After two outs, Pete Crow-Armstrong started the party with a crucial single, allowing Kyle Tucker, who had previously hit a ground-rule double, to score our first run. But it didn't stop there; Dansby Swanson followed with a splendid double, bringing Crow-Armstrong home. You could feel the energy in the air as Michael Busch blasted a 413-foot homer to bring Swanson in.

Keeping the Reds in Check
Our defense was on point throughout the night, with noteworthy pitching that kept the Reds at bay. Justin Steele and his relief crew displayed excellent composure and skill. The pitching staff managed to silence the Reds’ bats inning after inning, with only Elly De La Cruz denting the scoreline with a 6th-inning homer. Yet, our resilience showed, and we led comfortably into the latter part of the game.Solid Finish: Cubs Seal the Deal
Heading into the bottom of the 7th, with our Cubs leading 5-2, we witnessed more fireworks! Nico Hoerner, always dependable, hit a clutch single that allowed both Crow-Armstrong and Suzuki to score, expanding our lead to 7-2. Despite the Reds bringing in a late run in the 9th, our bullpen stood strong. Ryan Pressly and Ryan Brasier shut down any Reds hope for a comeback, ensuring a thrilling 7-3 victory for the Cubs. Feel the roar, Cubs Nation! Our team showcased both great depth in offense and formidable strength on defense, with Pete Crow-Armstrong stealing bases and Hoerner capturing the critical moments.
