Rockies Fall Short in a Thrilling Game
Oh boy, what a roller coaster of emotions we rode at Coors Field today!
Highlight Moments from the Rockies
The highlight of the day? That sensational 404-feet home run by Jordan Beck in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
Hunter Goodman was another standout, doubling twice and showing patience at the plate with a walk. His effort, along with Michael Toglia's clutch hitting and RBIs, kept us right in the game. Toglia’s ground-rule double in the 3rd brought us much-needed runs, tying the score at 4-4.
Came Up Just Short
Unfortunately, errors haunted us and the Reds capitalized, especially in the 7th inning, pushing two runs across. Our pitching staff put up a fight, with relievers like Chivilli and Alexander stepping up for some crucial outs, but the Reds proved to be just a bit sharper today. As always, Moniak and Stallings tried their best, contributing both in field and offense, but sometimes the breaks just don't go your way. Our last push in the 9th with Stallings, Moniak, and Toglia couldn’t deliver the elusive run we so desperately needed.
Despite the loss, this was one of those games that keeps your heart pounding and your spirit high. The Rockies showed their resilience, and there's always tomorrow to turn the tide. Let’s keep that Mile-High spirit up, Rockies fans!
