Rockies Show Early Promise Against Reds but Fall Short
As a die-hard Rockies fan, it's tough to swallow a loss, especially one as challenging as the 13-3 defeat against the Cincinnati Reds. Although Rodgers brought some hope with a homer in the bottom of the third, bringing the scoreline to a more respectable 3-4, it was the closest the Rockies would get for the remainder of the game.

Despite our Rockies' efforts to rally back, including a staunch defense and attempts to ignite the offense, the Reds' batting was relentless. By the 6th inning, the writing was on the wall as they extended their lead to an insurmountable 11-3.Our Rockies did not go down without a fight, though. Brenton Doyle and Jacob Stallings kept battling, showcasing the grit and determination that define our team. However, by the 9th inning, the Reds solidified their victory, capitalizing on a couple of key plays that pushed them to a 13-3 finish.
