Reds Keep the Win Train Rolling!
What a game, Reds fans! The Cincinnati Reds took on the Kansas City Royals and came away with a 7-4 victory!
Stellar Start Sets the Tone
In the top of the first inning, the Reds wasted no time putting a run on the board. TJ Friedl started things off with a double to right and later advanced to third on a wild pitch. Elly De La Cruz walked, putting two on base for Austin Hays, who came through with a sacrifice fly to right, allowing Friedl to score. Our boys were off to a great start!
Building the Lead
The third inning was a clinic in offensive prowess! With Spencer Steer and De La Cruz both contributing singles, Gavin Lux drove in De La Cruz with a single to center. Tyler Stephenson followed with a single of his own, bringing in Hays. Finally, a sacrifice fly from Will Benson allowed Lux to score, giving the Reds a commanding 4-0 lead!
Stephenson's Sensational Shot
The fifth inning saw a powerhouse performance from Stephenson with an impressive two-run homer to left field, bringing in Lux. That shot traveled 399 feet and solidified our lead at 6-0! Hats off to Stephenson for that majestic blast!
Royals Rally But Reds Hold Firm
The Royals attempted a comeback in the seventh inning with a home run by Salvador Perez and a couple of additional runs. But the Reds were not to be outdone, adding one more run in the eighth thanks to a Santiago Espinal double that scored Hays. Despite the Royalsโ ninth-inning efforts, the Reds closed it down with poise, particularly with the quick reflexes of our defense and pitching staff.
Raising the Roof in Victory
It feels great to watch our Reds achieve another well-earned win. With both strong bats and pitchers stepping up, the team looks formidable as we push forward through the season. Reds fans, let's keep that momentum alive! Here's to even more fantastic victories!

Let's go, Big Red Machine!
