Highlights of the Game
Well, it wasn't the result we wanted, Mets fans, but there were still some exciting moments from our boys!

Reds’ Comeback
After leading 2-0 through the third inning, the momentum started to shift. Matt McLain and Austin Hays turned the tables with crucial homers that tipped the scales in favor of the Reds. Hays had our pitchers’ number, hitting two solo shots that helped Cincinnati pull ahead. By the end of the fifth inning, the Reds managed to take a 3-2 lead, and from there continued building on it.Tough Loss for the Mets
Despite a late rally in the bottom of the ninth that gave us a sliver of hope, the deficit was just too steep to climb. Brandon Nimmo and Luis Torrens showed determination with vital hits bringing in a couple of runs. Interestingly, a fielding error by the Reds allowed Mauricio to reach base in the ninth inning and later score, but we couldn’t capitalize enough to overcome the Reds’ lead. While today wasn’t our day, let's keep the faith, Mets fans! We'll be ready to bounce back stronger, and our guys will certainly have more tricks up their sleeves in the upcoming games. As always, let's go Mets!
