The Energetic Start
Reds fans, the game against the Athletics started on an encouraging note!
We had a brief spark during the 2nd inning with Will Benson delivering a powerful 423-foot homer to center field, bringing Tyler Stephenson home for a 2-0 lead. It was looking good for the Reds, as our batting lineup showcased their potential early in the game. 
Mid-Game Troubles
Our excitement was unfortunately short-lived as the Athletics bounced back in the same inning with Brent Rooker and Carlos Cortes blasting home runs of their own.
By the end of the 3rd inning, our lead had turned into a 2-5 deficit, with the Athletics taking charge. But, our hopes were reignited in the 4th inning when Tyler Stephenson hit another homer, this one a 390-footer, leveling the game at 5-5. 
A Tough Finish
As we moved into the later innings, it seemed like the Athletics found their rhythm, unfortunately at our expense. The 8th inning turned the tide decisively against us, with Nick Kurtz launching a massive 493-foot homer to drive in four runs, tipping the scales to a decisive 11-5 against the Reds.
Our bats went silent and despite a valiant effort, we couldn't overcome the Athletics' late-game surge.Reds fans, while the final score of 5-11 was not in our favor, we saw flashes of brilliance in our team. It's onwards and upwards from here as we continue to back them through thick and thin!
