Strong Start for the Phillies!
It was a beautiful day at Citizens Bank Park, and our Phillies came through mightily with a 5-1 victory against the Cincinnati Reds!

A Homer-Filled Comeback
Trailing 1-0 after a home run by the Reds in the 5th inning, the Phillies quickly shook off the setback. Edmundo Sosa stepped up and smashed a 358-foot homer to right, tying the game. Then, Alec Bohm powered one to the center for a 400-foot home run in the 6th inning, propelling the Phillies to a 3-1 lead! The energy was electric!
Securing the Win
As the game advanced, Kyle Schwarber sealed the deal with a crucial 386-foot homer to the left center in the 8th inning, which brought Trea Turner home after he reached base on an error. With a final score of 5-1, the Phils left the Reds empty-handed in their final batting stretch. Huge shoutout to our pitching squad, particularly Strahm, who shut the game down!

Our Phillies showed persistence and determination today, proving why we're top dogs! Until next time, let's continue supporting our team. Go Phillies!
