The game kicked off with a pitching clinic from our staff. The Reds went down in order in the first, thanks to solid work from our boys on the mound. No hits, no walks—a perfect start! The same dominance was displayed in the second and third innings, really setting the tone for the night. High fives all around! 
Masyn Winn Shines Early 
We got on the board first, and it was all thanks to Masyn Winn! With two outs in the bottom of the third, he smashed a solo homer to left field, measuring a whopping 399 feet. That blast gave us a 1-0 lead and sent Busch Stadium into a frenzy. Go Winn! 
Reds Try to Battle Back, But Cardinals Respond 
The Reds managed to tie it up in the sixth inning when Jonathan India singled to left, bringing Jake Fraley home. But our boys didn’t flinch. In the bottom of the sixth, Lars Nootbaar hit a sac fly, letting Masyn Winn score again, putting us back in the lead at 2-1. The resilience and timely hitting were top-notch. 
Brendan Donovan Delivers the Big Blow 
The seventh inning was truly a spectacle. Brendan Donovan came up big with a pinch-hit two-run homer, scoring Thomas Saggese and extending our lead to 4-1. That shot to right field really deflated the Reds' hopes and pumped up our crowd. What a moment!

Our bullpen held strong through the late innings, with Brooks Kittredge and JoJo Romero shutting down the Reds' offense. We added two more insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth, thanks to some clutch hitting and a little help from a Reds error.
