Tough Day at the Plate for the Reds 
It was a tough day for our Reds against the St. Louis Cardinals. Our boys couldn't quite get the bats going, and unfortunately, we fell short with a final score of 3-0. Starting with the top of the 1st inning, the Cards managed to hold off our offensive momentum. TJ Friedl and Noelvi Marte both managed to get bat on ball, but unfortunately, they were both quickly retired. Gavin Lux tried to inject some life into the inning but struck out swinging.Cardinals Capitalize Early 
The Cards took an early advantage in the bottom of the 1st as Brendan Donovan managed to double to center. With a little help from a sacrifice fly by Nolan Arenado, they managed to take an early 1-0 lead. Our pitching tried to hold the line, but in the bottom of the 3rd, Thomas Saggese delivered a painful blow with a homer to left center, extending the Cards’ lead to 3-0.Cincinnati Struggles to Break Through 
Our Reds tried to claw back into the game with some vibrant at-bats. Elly De La Cruz and Will Benson managed to connect with singles but ran into back-breaking double plays. Ke'Bryan Hayes and Tyler Stephenson had some rough luck as well, hitting into a double play and grounding out in crucial moments.Closing It Out with Little Spark 
Despite effort and determination, especially with TJ Friedl drawing a walk in the 6th, our Reds couldn't capitalize. The final three innings saw no runs added to our tally. Lux, Marte, and Sal Stewart were unable to find that late-game groove, grounding or striking out to end the game.The fight continues, and we'll be back in action ready to turn things around.
