The game started with a bang thanks to Steven Kwan, who homered to right field, giving us an early lead. What a way to kick off the game, right? Unfortunately, despite some solid attempts, including Josh Naylor's walk and steal, that was the peak of our scoring efforts for the first few innings.Braves Turn the Tide
The 4th inning was where things started to tilt in Atlanta's favor. After a couple of walks and a hit by pitch, Marcell Ozuna doubled to bring in two runs, followed by Michael Harris II's double to add another, putting the Braves up 3-1. Not the turnaround we were hoping for.The Braves didn’t stop there, as they gradually built their lead to 6-1 by the 8th, highlighted by an Orlando Arcia solo homer. Our Guardians battled hard but couldn’t quite close the gap.
Late Rally Falls Short
In the 9th, there was a glimmer of hope . Tyler Freeman started with a double, and Jose Ramirez singled, proving the fight was still very much alive in our boys. David Fry followed up with a single to center, bringing Freeman home to cut the deficit to 6-2. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the Guardians couldn’t bridge the gap fully, and the Braves took the win, 6-2.Final Thoughts
