The early innings were a bit of a stalemate, with both teams struggling to get on the scoreboard. But it was in the bottom of the 4th inning when Will Benson emerged as the hero of the night. He crushed a spectacular 399-foot homer to the right field, bringing Tyler Stephenson home and putting the Reds ahead 2-0. The crowd went wild, and the momentum was ours!
Not resting on his laurels, Will Benson struck again in the 6th inning with another solo homer—this time sailing 380 feet to deepen our lead to 3-0. Two home runs in one game? Talk about clutch performance!
Guardians' Late Rally Halted by Reds Bullpen
Cleveland tried to mount a comeback in the 7th inning as Willson Santana drove home Bo Naylor to put the Guardians on the board. But our bullpen was having none of it!
