Guardians Strike First and Hold the Lead
What a game, Guardians fans!
In the top of the 1st inning, our very own Steven Kwan got us started with a roaring double to right. Following him, Jose Ramirez showcased his prowess by tripling to right, bringing in Kwan for the first run. 
Kyle Manzardo may have struck out, but Carlos Santana wasn't going to let the momentum slip as he legged out an infield single to knock in Ramirez. That put us up 2-0 by the middle of the 1st, and the tone was set! 
Maintaining the Pressure
The middle innings saw great defensive plays, with solid pitching to ensure the Tigers didn’t claw back. Kudos to our infield and Bo Naylor, who kept things tidy from behind the plate.
Though Spencer Torkelson managed to sneak in a homer in the bottom of the 6th, our boys continued to hold strong with a 2-1 lead.Securing the Win
In the top of the 9th, with tension thick in the air, Naylor ignited the dugout with a blistering triple to center field. Kwan came through clutch again with a single to left, padding our lead by driving in Naylor and taking the score to 3-1 in our favor. Emmanuel Clase sealed the deal in style, forcing the final Tiger outs to secure a sweet victory for the Guardians!
