Tigers vs Guardians Recap: Battling Into Extras
Hey Tigers fans!

A Slow Start But A Strong Fight
The game got off to a cautious start with our team failing to seize early momentum despite some opportunities. Gleyber Torres sparked some hope in the 3rd inning with a massive 402-foot homer to tie the game 1-1. Yet, the Guardians struck back with a solo homer by Arias in the 4th, making it 2-1.
Late-Inning Drama and Extra-Inning Agony
Bottom of the 6th, Dillon Dingler managed to score Riley Greene off a fielder's choice, raising our spirits to 3-2. The late innings didn’t go our way, but Kerry Carpenter had us roaring back to life with a clutch 9th inning solo homer to tie at 3-3. However, our bullpen encountered trouble in the 10th, allowing four runs.
Despite the setback, Spencer Torkelson delivered a dramatic 2-run homer in the 10th, but the rally wasn't enough. Ending at 7-5, it was a tough one, but plenty of positives can be taken.
Looking Ahead
Props to our players for battling hard! We saw flashes of brilliance throughout. We're gaining some player momentum and learning from each game. Let's keep rallying behind our Tigers as they continue to fight through the season.
Go Tigers!
