Guardians Edge Out Tigers in Tough Battle 
Well, Tigers fans, it was a hard-fought game but unfortunately it didn't end in our favor. The Guardians managed to take the win with a final score of 3-1. There were definitely some bright spots in our performance, but ultimately, the Guardians' bats outlasted ours.
Early Lead and Defensive Efforts
The game started slow, with both teams struggling to get on the scoreboard in the first inning. Our boys drew first blood in the bottom of the 2nd when Spencer Torkelson doubled to left, setting himself up to score on a double by Colt Keith. Still, despite this promising start, the Guardians managed to keep us from adding to our score for the rest of the game.
Tough Middle Innings
Our pitching looked solid, shutting down the Guardians' batters through the first three innings. But the Guardians finally broke through at the top of the 4th when Jhonkensy Noel hit a solo homer to left center, tying the game. From there, our batters made contact but couldn't convert them into runs. Gleyber Torres tried to spark the offense with a couple of walks and a single, and we even got creative with some lineup changes, but their pitchers kept us in check.
Guardians Seize Control in the 7th 
The game turned in the top of the 7th when José Ramírez launched a two-run homer to right center, putting the Guardians in the driver's seat. Our defensive efforts struggled a bit here, and even with switch-ups like bringing in Melton to relieve Skubal, it wasn't enough to stop the surge. Unfortunately, we couldn't get back after that decisive play despite some late-game efforts by our pinch hitters.
All in all, it was a tough loss, but there’s always another game to look forward to. Let's hope for more resilience and a strong comeback next time! Come on, Tigers, we got this in the next outing!
