Guardians Start Strong 
The game started off with our Guardians facing the Houston Astros, and right from the get-go, we set the tone. After a flyout from Steven Kwan, Nolan Jones got us going with a single to left. Then, Jose Ramirez blasted a 378-foot homer to bring Jones home and give us an early 2-0 lead. Although Carlos Santana struck out, you could feel the excitement building. Way to kick things off, Guardians! 
Building the Lead 
By the third inning, our boys were on fire! Brayan Rocchio hit a double followed by a Nolan Jones double bringing Rocchio home. But it didn't stop there! After Jose Ramirez was intentionally walked, we saw Daniel Schneemann bring both Jones and Ramirez home with a single, extending our lead to 5-1! Then, in the fourth inning, Rocchio added a solo homer to right field, putting us up 6-1. Our bats were alive today! 
Astros Fight Back, But Guardians Hold Strong 
Despite the Astros rallying with three runs in the fifth and another two in the eighth, the Guardians were not to be denied. In the top of the 10th, with the game tied 6-6, Angel Martinez came through in the clutch! With runners on, Martinez launched a 334-foot homer, bringing home Steven Kwan, Jose Ramirez, and Carlos Santana to put us ahead 10-6! What a moment! 
Closing It Out With Style 
In the bottom of the 10th, elite closer Emmanuel Clase came in to finish off the Astros. He struck out Cam Smith and got groundouts from Shay Whitcomb and Taylor Trammell, securing the 10-6 victory for our Guardians. A truly well-fought game by our guys! We took on the Astros and came out victorious, showing resilience and heart throughout. Let's keep this momentum going! Go Guardians!
