Guardians Take the Lead Early
What an exciting game for us Cleveland Guardians fans! Our team started with a bang, showing patience and discipline right from the get-go. Steven Kwan, Angel Martinez, and Jose Ramirez all patiently earned walks to load the bases. Carlos Santana got us on the board with a walk that brought Kwan home, and a clutch double by Johnathan Rodriguez helped us extend our lead to 3-0 in this commanding first inning!
Royals Strike Back But Guardians Hold Firm
The Royals showed some resistance in the second inning with a two-run homer by Freddy Fermin, but that didn’t shake our momentum. Gabriel Arias hit a crucial double, setting Jose Ramirez to score on a sacrifice fly by Daniel Schneemann, expanding our lead 4-2. Steven Kwan added to the excitement with a spectacular 431-foot two-run homer in the fourth, solidifying a stronger 6-2 lead!
Closing the Game with Confidence
The Royals managed a two-run homer by Bobby Witt Jr. to close the gap to 6-4, but our Guardians displayed resilient defense. Stellar pitching from our bullpen, led by Clase, shut down any comeback hopes the Royals might have had. Clase captured the last three outs consecutively, sealing our hard-fought 6-4 victory. This game was a solid display of our team's power and determination. Go Guardians!
