Guardians Take Down Royals 4-2 
What a game for our Cleveland Guardians! It was a pitcher's duel early on, but our team found a way to break through and get the win against the Kansas City Royals. Let's dive into the action!Early Inning Struggles 
The game started slowly for both sides. In the top of the 1st, Steven Kwan fouled out to first, Andres Gimenez doubled but was left stranded after Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor could not bring him home. Similarly, our pitchers kept the Royals off the board too, even though Bobby Witt Jr. stole second before Salvador Perez struck out to end the threat. Royals Strike First But Guardians Respond 
Kansas City got on the board first in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Yuli Gurriel walked and scored thanks to a double by Maikel Garcia. But worry not, Guardians fans! In the top of the 5th, Jhonkensy Noel singled and Lane Thomas delivered a crushing 414-foot homer to left-center, putting us up 2-1!Naylor's Bomb Extends the Lead
The 6th inning was pivotal for us. Jose Ramirez reached on an infield single, and then Josh Naylor smashed a 420-foot homer to center, scoring two more runs! That put the Guardians up 4-1, a lead that our pitchers and defense held onto with strength.Pitching and Defense Secures the Win 
Despite the Royals tacking on another run in the bottom of the 8th with Freddy Fermin scoring on a sacrifice fly from Kyle Isbel, our bullpen shut the door. Emmanuel Clase came in the 9th and made quick work of the Royals' batters, ensuring a 4-2 victory.Wrap-Up Thoughts
