What a game, Guardians fans! Our team showed remarkable resilience and tenacity as they pulled off a thrilling 9-5 victory over the New York Yankees in a 12-inning showdown. 
Here's a breakdown of the key moments that secured this unforgettable win for our Guardians.Early Struggles But Immediate Responses
The Guardians had a rough start with Juan Soto and Aaron Judge homering back-to-back in the bottom of the 1st inning to put the Yankees ahead 2-0. But we didn’t stay down for long. In the top of the 2nd, Jhonkensy Noel doubled to center, setting up Bo Naylor to drive him in, closing the gap to 2-1. In the 3rd inning, a key single by Daniel Schneemann tied the game at 2-2.
Mid-Game Drama and Crucial Plays
Our Guardians continued to battle, with Brayan Rocchio hitting a solo homer in the 4th to give us the lead. However, the Yankees tied it back up at 3-3 in the bottom of the frame. Both teams exchanged strong defensive plays and key outs through the middle innings to keep the score level. There were moments of tension, but our pitching staff, including the likes of Nick Sandlin and Enyel De Los Santos, held their ground.

In the 12th inning, Lane Thomas came in clutch with a double that scored Schneemann, giving us a 4-3 lead. José RamÃrez followed up with a critical RBI single, and Will Brennan blew the game wide open with a bases-loaded triple! 
Jhonkensy Noel added another insurance run, making it 9-3.The Yankees tried to rally in the bottom of the 12th, with Aaron Judge driving in two runs, but it wasn’t enough. Scott Barlow closed it out, and the Guardians secured a magnificent 9-5 victory.
