Guardians Dominate Early

Wow, what a game, Guardians fans! 😍 From the get-go, it was clear that our boys came to play. Steven Kwan got us started with a walk, and then the magic happened. Angel Martínez smacked a homer to right center that brought the two of them home, putting us ahead 2-0 right off the bat! The hits kept on coming with a José Ramírez double, and Daniel Schneemann followed with an RBI double that brought Ramírez in, giving us a spectacular 3-0 lead in the first inning! 🎉

Guardians Shut Down the Yankees

Our pitching and defense were on point today! Despite some base runners, our guys kept the Yankees at bay, shutting them out. Trent Grisham and Aaron Judge got on base, but our defense made sure that was all they got. The Yankees tried to rally, but the Guardians pitchers made the big plays that counted, including key strikeouts by several pitchers! ⚾

Cleveland Seals the Deal

Come the 8th inning, Kyle Manzardo added a cherry on top with a solo homer to right center, making it 4-0, solidifying the Guardians’ lead! 🏆 This was followed by another double by the ever-reliable Daniel Schneemann. The bottom of the 9th saw some tense moments, with Cody Bellinger hitting a ground rule double, but Emmanuel Clase came in and finished things off in style with two great strikeouts, ensuring a clean sheet for the Guardians!

Guardians fans, this was a fantastic win against the Yankees, silencing the Bronx and bringing joy to Cleveland! Let’s keep this momentum going! 💪 Let's go, Guardians! 🍻
