Tough Start for the Giants
Alright, Giants fans, tonight's game against the Cleveland Guardians started off on a rocky note. Our guys stumbled out of the gate, with Jose Ramirez's RBI single, putting the Guardians on the scoreboard first. In the bottom half, we struggled to get on base with Heliot Ramos, Willy Adames, and Rafael Devers all going down in order.
Fourth Inning Bumps
Things went from bad to worse in the top of the fourth when Daniel Schneemann hit a three-run homer, stretching the Guardians' lead to 4-0. Wilmer Flores did manage to get on base with a walk but wasn't able to capitalize as Casey Schmitt and the others ended the inning disappointingly.Ramos to the Rescue!
Finally, some smiles in the bottom of the fifth! Patrick Bailey's single set the stage for Heliot Ramos who launched a towering two-run homer to left center. At 420 feet, it was a giant blast, cutting the Guardians' lead in half to 4-2! Giant pride!

Missed Opportunities
Despite having chances to score in the later innings, the bats went cold again. Mike Yastrzemski added a couple of base hits and reached second on a balk, but we couldn't capitalize. Our boys kept fighting until the very end, especially with Camilo Doval shutting down the Guardians in the top of the ninth. However, we couldn't quite seal the comeback our fans were hoping for.
Keep your heads held high Giants fans, we've seen magic from this team before, and there's plenty of baseball left to play. Let's show that Giants fighting spirit!
