Rockies Begin Strong

What a hopeful start, Rockies fans! 😃 In the top of the 1st inning, we saw Ryan McMahon knock one out of the park with a massive 441-foot homer, bringing Hunter Goodman home and giving us an early 2-0 lead. But the Braves answered back with a sacrifice fly by Matt Olson, allowing Ronald Acuña Jr. to score and bringing the score to 2-1.

Keeping the Lead

The Rockies kept up the pressure in the 4th inning when Keston Hiura scored off a single from Goodman, and Freeman was brought home by McMahon's single. We extended our lead to 4-1. The team was delivering both in hits and spirit, keeping us optimistic as the innings rolled by! 🙌

Braves Turn the Tables

Alas, the 6th inning became a turning point. The Braves rallied, with Michael Harris II hitting a three-run homer, tying the game at 4-4. Then a wild 7th inning saw Marcell Ozuna crush a three-run homer, putting the Braves ahead 7-4. The Braves continued to pile on runs in the 8th, capitalizing on fielding errors and solid hits to eventually secure their win at 12-4. Despite the outcome, we're proud of the heart our Rockies showed! Keep your heads up, Rockies nation! 🌄👏
