A Disappointing Day for the Rockies
Fellow Rockies fans, sometimes it just isn’t our day, and today was one of those times. From the very beginning, the Cleveland Guardians had our number, despite some heroic efforts and bright spots from our side. We fell 10-4 in this tough contest.Rockies Offensive Highlights
It wasn’t all bad for the Rockies—Jordan Beck put us on the board in the 4th inning with a booming homer to right center, giving us a little spark. Michael Toglia also shone with a solo homer, sending the ball 395 feet over left field in the 7th inning. Warming Bernabel showed resilience by hitting a crucial double in the 8th that allowed Ezequiel Tovar to score after reaching base on an error. Towards the end, Kyle Farmer clobbered a homer to center in the 9th, making the loss a bit easier to swallow.

Guardians Overpower Early and Relay the Momentum
The Guardians began their scoring quickly, seizing a lead in the 1st inning with a two-RBI single by Gabriel Arias. They piled on the pressure with Kyle Manzardo’s homer and Brayan Rocchio’s triple in the 3rd inning, extending their lead to 7-0. Manzardo repeated his earlier feat in the 6th for another homer. They kept our pitchers working hard throughout the game, showing great depth in their lineup.Pitching Strains
Our pitching crew had a challenging outing. Gordon, who started the game, faced relentless offensive pressure from the Guardians, and despite Chivilli's and Herget’s efforts, Cleveland continued to find gaps in our defense. It was one of those days where the strike zone seemed to favor the hitters more than our pitchers.

While today's game didn’t swing in our favor, let's regroup and get ready for the next battle, Rockies fans. It's a long season and these guys have shown resilience before, and they'll do it again! Let’s hope for some more fireworks from Beck, Toglia, Farmer, and the rest of the crew in the next game. Let’s go Rockies!
