A Promising Start for the Royals
What a fantastic game it was for us Kansas City Royals fans!
Starting off with a slow first inning where the Rockies took a brief lead, the Royals quickly responded. Thanks to a powerful double by Salvador Perez, both Maikel Garcia and Bobby Witt Jr. made it home, pushing us into the lead. We were up 2-1 at the end of the first inning, and spirits were high!Trading Blows with the Rockies
The Rockies managed to tie the game at 2-2 in the top of the 2nd inning with a homer by Jordan Beck. Throughout the third inning, they even took the lead with a two-run homer by Hunter Goodman. But our boys didn't let that go unanswered. In the bottom of the third, Michael Massey and Drew Waters brought the score back to an even 4-4, proving that the Royals weren't going down without a fight!
Sealing the Victory
After a dramatic 5th inning, a crucial infield single by Kyle Isbel pushed our score up by two more runs. Later, in the 7th inning, Isbel made it happen again with a smart bunt single, allowing Tyler Tolbert to score, cementing our lead. Our bullpen was lights out, notably when Estévez closed out the 9th with ease. The Royals triumphed over the Rockies with a final score of 7-4!
What a game, Royals fans! We looked strong and determined throughout. Let's keep the momentum going! Royals all the way!
