Rockies Fall in LA
Hey Rockies fans, it was a tough outing last night as we took on the Dodgers at their home. Despite some promising moments and a solid hustle from our guys, we came up short against a skillful Dodgers team.Early Struggles
The game started slow for both teams, holding each other scoreless through the first inning. The Dodgers struck first in the second inning when Michael Conforto scored after a grounded double play by Chris Taylor. Meanwhile, our Rockies couldn't capitalize on a handful of opportunities and continued to fight through the early innings.Mid-Game Sparks
We did have a glimmer of hope in the fourth inning! Ryan McMahon drew a walk which led to a two-RBI double by our catcher, Jacob Stallings. This gave some life to the Rockies crowd, hoping for a rally from 5-2. However, a strong Dodgers defense kept us at bay. And despite the Rockies getting baserunners on in multiple innings, clutch hits were elusive, and we couldn't break through after the fourth.Dodgers Pull Away
The Dodgers extended their lead in the third inning thanks to a big three-run homer by Will Smith, a significant blow delivered at the wrong time for us. They sealed the deal with one more run in the eighth inning, leaving us needing four runs to tie in the ninth. Sadly, we couldn't muster a ninth-inning comeback, leaving the score at 6-2 in favor of the Dodgers. As always, it's on to the next one, Rockies fans! Let's keep our heads high and continue to support our team—always hoping for brighter days ahead.

Fingers crossed for more scoring chances and turning those into runs in the coming games. Let's go, Rockies!
