Closer Shuts the Door
The 9th inning saw defensive changes for the Marlins, with Nick Fortes taking over catching duties, Otto Lopez running for Josh Bell and taking over at second, allowing Arraez to cover first base. Closer Maldonado then took the mound, efficiently closing the game by retiring the Rockies in order.
