Rockies Hit the Road
Hey there, Rockies Nation.

Arcia and Freeman Power Up
The highlight of our offensive performance was definitely the solo homer by Orlando Arcia in the 3rd inning, driving it to center for 393 feet!

Pitching and Mets' Response
Even with a valiant performance, our pitching lineup couldn't hold off the Mets’ power hitters for long. Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor came swinging back at us with homers that re-shifted the score in their favor. That 4th inning three-run homer by Alonso was a turning point. Then Juan Soto extended their lead in the 8th with another solo homer.
Scrappy Finish
We saw some hustle in the 9th with Sam Hilliard getting on base with a single and advancing to second on a wild pitch. However, the Mets' closer shut down any further attempts, as Ezequiel Tovar, Ryan McMahon, and Brenton Doyle all tried to bring it home for us but couldn't break through.Tough loss, Rockies fans, final score 5-3 in favor of the Mets. But hey, we showed resilience, and the homers by Arcia and Freeman were fantastic! Until next time, let’s keep the faith and root for those mountains to rise high again!
