Disappointing Loss in Philly
Well, Rockies Nation, it was a tough one on the road as our Colorado Rockies fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 5-1. Despite an electrifying home run by Hunter Goodman, our bats just couldn't get going against the Phils' pitching.A Brief Glimmer in the 7th
After a slow start for both teams, the Phillies struck first in the 4th inning, taking a 2-0 lead. The only bright moment for our Rockies came in the 7th inning when Hunter Goodman smacked a solo homer to left center, cutting the deficit to 2-1.

The Phillies extended their lead in the late innings, scoring once in the 7th and twice in the 8th, leaving us trailing 5-1. Our attempts to rally in the final innings fell short, with Michael Toglia striking out swinging to end the game. It's never easy watching our team come up short, but here's hoping we bounce back in the next outing!
