Rockies Fall to Padres: A Disappointing Day in San Diego
Rockies fans, it’s tough to recap this one as our boys fell 2-10 to the Padres in San Diego. The energy was high starting out, but we just couldn’t keep up with the Padres’ relentless offense.A Glimmer of Hope: Doyle’s Homer!
The highlight of our game came in the 4th inning when Brenton Doyle smashed a homer to left, tying it 1-1. That moment brought some much-needed excitement and hope for us Rockies fans. Doyle showed great promise out there!Padres Take Over in the 6th and 8th Innings
Heavy sigh… The game took a turn for the worse in the 6th inning when the Padres scored three runs off a homer by David Peralta. It didn’t stop there; they really hammered us in the 8th inning, adding four more runs to widen the gap to 10-2. It was a tough scene to witness.Stallings Gives a Spark with a Solo Homer
Props to Jacob Stallings, who managed to hit a solo homer in the 7th inning—another highlight in an otherwise rough game. We need more moments like that to stay competitive!Looking Forward
