It was one of those days for us Padres fans that we'd rather forget, but here we are.
The Rockies came into town and, without any mercy, clinched an 8-0 victory that was tough to watch. Let's break down what happened at Petco Park.A Rocky Start

The Rockies got to work in the second, though, thanks to Brenton Doyle's homer and a double by Jordan Beck that brought two more runs in. In the 9th, we held onto that sliver of hope for a comeback miracle. But Rockies reliever Lambert made quick work, ensuring the Padres stayed off the scoreboard.
