Frustrating Loss to the Rockies in a Low-Scoring Affair 
Oh man, Nats fans, this one stings. It felt like we just couldn't get the offense going and dropped a close one to the Rockies, 3-1. We had some promising moments, but ultimately fell short.Rockies Strike First in the 1st Inning 
The Rockies wasted no time putting a run on the board. After a double from Tovar and a single from Doyle, Ryan McMahon knocked in the first run, followed by a frustrating passed ball situation. The score was quickly 1-0 in favor of Colorado, and we were on the back foot.Unable to Capitalize Early 
Our batters struggled against the Rockies' pitching early on. Despite Luis García Jr.'s double in the 2nd inning, we couldn't bring him home. It was more of the same in the 3rd inning with Alex Call walking but no follow-up from CJ Abrams who struck out.Frustrating 5th and Missed Opportunities 
We started the 5th inning with some hope as Luis García Jr. walked and then Jose Tena singled. But once again, we couldn’t bring them in, leaving us scoreless while the Rockies maintained their 1-0 lead.Rockies Expand Their Lead in the 6th 
The Rockies added two more runs in the 6th inning, one from a single by Nolan Jones and another from a throwing error on Jose Tena. Suddenly, we were down 3-0, and the task ahead looked even tougher.Abrams Goes Deep in the 6th Inning! 
There was a spark of hope when CJ Abrams blasted a homer to right-center, making it 3-1. It felt like the momentum might shift our way, but the Rockies’ bullpen held firm.Ninth-Inning Drama But No Payoff 
Our last gasp came in the 9th inning. Joey Gallo walked, and then Luis García Jr. singled, pushing Gallo to third. We had runners on the corners with one out. However, pinch hitter Keibert Ruiz fouled out and Jose Tena grounded out, ending our rally and the game.Summary
The Rockies took this one 3-1. It's a tough pill to swallow considering the opportunities we had but just couldn’t convert. Let's hope the team regroups and gets the bats alive in the next game. Let's go Nats!
