Nationals Dominate Rockies in 6-1 Victory! 
What a game, Nationals fans! The Washington Nationals put on a show in front of the home crowd, securing a convincing 6-1 win over the Colorado Rockies. It was a fantastic team effort with key contributions from our guys. Let's dive into the highlights!Solid Start Sets the Tone
Things got off to a balanced start in the first inning, with neither team putting any runs on the board. Our pitcher kept the Rockies in check, and even when Brenton Doyle doubled, we managed to shut them down soon after. The bottom of the 2nd inning saw Luis Garcia Jr. fly out, but then Jose Tena and Andres Chaparro got things rolling with singles. Joey Gallo stepped up big time with a double, bringing in Tena for the first run! The inning ended with us leading 1-0.In the 3rd inning, Alex Call and Keibert Ruiz drove each other home, and then Luis Garcia Jr. uncorked a massive 419-foot homer to center, driving in three runs!

Our defense was lights out, especially from the 4th to the 6th innings, keeping the Rockies at bay. In the bottom of the 6th, Chaparro doubled, and Jacob Young singled to bring Chaparro home. Another run added and our lead extended to 6-0!

The Rockies attempted a comeback in the 7th, with Brendan Rodgers scoring Ryan McMahon. But thanks to some stellar pitching and defense, that was all they managed, leaving the score at 6-1.As the game rolled into the 9th inning, our relief pitcher Rainey kept things under control despite allowing a single. He closed the deal, and the Nationals emerged victorious with a decisive 6-1 win!
