Nationals Get the Win Over Rockies! 
Hey Nationals fans, what a night at the ballpark! Our Nats took down the Rockies with a convincing 8-3 victory. Let's relive the key moments from this exciting game!Solid Start from Our Pitching Staff 
The game began with our pitchers absolutely dealing. The Rockies couldn’t get anything going in the first few innings. Big shoutout to the guys on the mound for setting the tone early and keeping the Rockies scoreless through the first three innings.Third-Inning Breakthrough 
Joey Gallo walked to lead off the bottom of the third, and Alex Call moved him over to third with a single. Although CJ Abrams struck out, James Wood came up clutch with a single to center to bring in two runs. Wood’s heads-up base running had him stealing second before the inning ended with us up 2-0. What a way to get on the board!Rockies Get One Back, Nats Respond Strongly 
In the sixth inning, Brenton Doyle hit a solo homer for the Rockies, cutting our lead to 2-1. No worries, though! CJ Abrams led off the bottom half with a double, James Wood got hit by a pitch, and then Keibert Ruiz doubled to bring home Abrams. Luis Garcia Jr. and Jose Tena also got in on the action, bringing the score to 5-1. What an inning!Sealing the Deal in the 8th Innning 
The Nats exploded once again in the eighth inning. Singles from Luis García Jr., Jose Tena, and Joey Gallo set the stage for Juan Yepez, who launched a three-run bomb to center! That homer extended our lead to 8-1. Although the Rockies tried to mount a late comeback, scoring two more runs on a Jacob Stallings homer, it was too little too late.Locking It Down
Our bullpen shut the door effectively, with Adon coming in to finish the game strong after R. Garcia and Barnes did stellar work. Despite a late double from the Rockies, Adon struck out Brenton Beck to end the game.What a team effort tonight! The Nationals dominated on both sides of the ball, and it’s always a treat to watch our team play so well. Looking forward to more games like this one. Go Nats!
