Tough Loss After a Strong Start
What a rollercoaster at Fenway! The Boston Red Sox had us on the edge of our seats, but eventually fell to the Detroit Tigers with a score of 8-4 in an extra-inning battle. A game that seemed well in grip through the first half turned the tide, leaving us pondering what could have been.

The game kicked off with promise as Enmanuel Valdez cracked a single to center in the bottom of the first, bringing Wilyer Abreu home. Our Sox took an early lead, and with Rafael Devers walking, it seemed we were off to the races. The first few innings highlighted the strong side of our roster, especially with Devers smashing a triple in the third to add to the tally.
Pitching and Defense Keeping the Line
Our defense and pitching did their part through the mid-game, with Brayan Bello and Jansen keeping the Tigers at bay until the turning tide in the 6th inning narrowed our lead to just one run. It was a tense moment where every play felt crucial.
