There were some bright moments for our team, starting with Wenceel Pérez who brought the roar back to the lineup with a solo homer in the 7th inning, pulling us to a 2-1 score. And let's not forget Dillon Dingler's crucial infield single that tied the game in the same inning, demonstrating some clutch hitting that we love seeing from our young guys.
A Tough Ending to a Great Effort
Into the bottom of the 10th, after Korey Lee came in as a pinch runner and a perfectly placed bunt from the White Sox, Timothy Elko drove in the winning run, sealing a painful walk-off for Chicago. Despite the loss, it was an admirable effort by our pitching staff. From Mize to Brieske, they battled hard to keep it tight. Keep your heads up, fans, and let's get ready for the next one!
