Tigers Roar in the Second and Third
The second inning saw the Tigers unleashing their might. With bases loaded, Gleyber Torres singled and brought home Tomas Nido. A fielding error by the Rockies allowed Jace Jung to score, and Andy Ibáñez brought in a sac fly to send Malloy in, making it a 5-0 game. Spencer Torkelson's double then plated both McKinstry and Torres, pushing the score to 7-0.In the third, the momentum didn't stop. Javier Báez started with a double. A hit by Trey Sweeney followed by another single from Malloy widened the gap to 9-0. Tigers fans were over the moon with this sensational display of offense!

With a commanding 9-0 lead after three innings, the game was well in hand. The Rockies struggled against our pitchers, while Tigers' Báez continued to deliver by driving in another run in the seventh, making it 10-1. The Rockies didn't go down without a fight—scoring one more in the bottom of the ninth—but it was all too little, too late.A thrilling game ended in a 10-2 win for the Tigers, showcasing our dynamic lineup and effective pitching.
