Tigers Roar Loud in Denver!
What a game it was for our Detroit Tigers as they took on the Colorado Rockies in Denver and came out roaring with a big 11-1 victory! After a quiet start in the first two innings, our bats came alive in the third as Dillon Dingler sparked the rally with his single. It was Kerry Carpenter, Gleyber Torres, Spencer Torkelson, and Jace Jung who turned this inning into a scoring bonanza, pushing us ahead 6-1. Dominant Pitching and Defense
Our defense was outstanding today! We saw smooth double plays like the ones in the 1st and 2nd innings that took the steam out of any Rockies' momentum. On the mound, our pitchers showed no mercy, shutting down any offensive attempts by Colorado after their solitary run in the second inning. Kudos to our pitching staff for maintaining their composure throughout!Bats Stay Hot in the Later Innings
In the 7th inning, Colt Keith had a monstrous 450-foot homer that extended our lead to 8-1! The 8th inning was just another cherry on top, as Justyn-Henry Malloy, hitting for Carpenter, cleared the bases with a huge double, adding three more to our total. Colt Keith continued his hot streak in the 9th with another solid single.Congratulations to our boys for this emphatic win! Playing with such energy, both at the plate and in the field, shows the heart this team has. Next stop, another victory!
