Astros Turn the Tables in a Thrilling Win!
What seemed like a slow start for our beloved Houston Astros turned into an incredible comeback victory against the Detroit Tigers. Initially, the Tigers had the upper hand with Kerry Carpenter sending a homer to give them an early lead. Our guys were off to a slow start; the first inning passed without any scores from the Astros. As we moved through innings 2 and 3, there wasn't much action from our side, but we remained hopeful.Astros' Sixth Inning Surge
The turning point in the game came in the bottom of the 6th inning. After a series of outs and near-misses, José Altuve grounded out but set the stage for Christian Walker's impressive double that brought Altuve home. Then, Yainer Diaz stepped up with a clutch single, bringing both Isaac Paredes and Walker in to score, giving the Astros the lead!

Sealing the Victory with Seventh Inning Fireworks
The magic continued in the 7th inning as Dubón singled and Peña walked to load the bases. Despite a near mishap, Yordan Alvarez brought Dubón home with a beautiful single. Then, Paredes tripled to send Alvarez across the plate. The cherry on top was Yainer Diaz's single that scored Paredes, giving the Astros a solid 6-2 lead.
Though the Tigers managed a small push in the 9th with a homer from Gleyber Torres, our proven closer, Josh Hader, held them off, and the victory belonged to Houston. Final score: 6-4. A huge shoutout to our team for displaying such resilience and skill. Together, we showed what it means to be an Astro!
