Tigers Roar Early
What a fantastic night for us Tigers fans!
It was an intense game at Kauffman Stadium, but our boys pulled through with a 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals. We got off to a strong start with a solid top of the first inning. Colt Keith set the stage with a single, and then Riley Greene crushed a two-run homer to right field, giving us an early 2-0 advantage. Gotta love it when our guys make an early statement! 
Holding Our Ground
The Royals fought back, but we kept our cool. In the second inning, Dillon Dingler extended the lead with another two-run homer. Our pitching staff, led by Casey Mize and relieved by Bryan Garcia, Jack Hanifee, and others, let a few slip but kept the Royals from getting too close. Our defensive plays, especially during a close-call third inning with bases loaded, were crucial in holding onto the lead.
Finishing Strong
The excitement didn't stop there! Spencer Torkelson came through with a homer in the eighth, extending our lead to 6-4. Dingler then brought in another run with a single. Although the Royals tried to surge back in the ninth, our bullpen shut the door. Will Vest ensured we left with a win by managing the bases and sealing the deal. A shoutout to our bullpen and their determination!
This victory shows the grit and heart of our Tigers. Here's to more wins in the future—let's keep the momentum roaring!
