A Strong Win for the Angels
What a game, Angels fans!
Our boys outshined the Detroit Tigers with a commanding 5-2 victory. It wasn’t just a win; it was a showcase of our solid defense and strategic plays. From the get-go, Zach Neto set the tone with a single to left in the first inning. While it took a couple of innings for the scoreboard to reflect our prowess, our persistence finally paid off.Key Plays and Clutch Moments
In the second inning, a fielding error by Tiger's right fielder Kerry Carpenter allowed Travis d'Arnaud to bring home our first run. Capitalizing on Tigers' mistakes and turning them into opportunities was a theme throughout the game.The explosive 6th inning was a true highlight! Luis Rengifo made it happen with a single that brought Nolan Schanuel and Jorge Soler home. And then, Kyren Paris kept the ball rolling with another hit, allowing d'Arnaud and Rengifo to score. Our offense was on point and delivered the runs we needed!

Shutting Them Down
Our defense was spectacular. The Tigers struggled against our pitching lineup, managing only two runs, one from a homer by Spencer Torkelson in the 8th inning. But even then, our lead was never really threatened. With Jansen closing it out, maintaining pressure, and getting crucial outs, we secured a comfortable win.Let's soak in this victory, Angels fans!
