Dodgers Take a Nail-Biter at Home! ⚾

Hey Dodgers fans, what an exciting game we had! The Boys in Blue managed to overcome the Detroit Tigers 5-4 in a thrilling matchup. Let's dive right in and talk about the highlights that made us jump out of our seats!

Tommy Edman Sets the Tone with a Blast! 💥

After a quiet first inning, it was Tommy Edman who put the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot in the bottom of the 2nd inning, sending the ball sailing 401 feet into the stands! This early homer gave us a 1-0 lead and got the crowd roaring.

Tense Middle Innings ⚔

The Tigers clawed back thanks to a wild pitch, tying the game at 1-1 in the 4th. Then, they edged ahead 2-1 in the 5th with a sacrifice fly by Margot. However, Teoscar Hernández changed the game with one swing: a monstrous 3-run homer in the bottom of the 5th, with Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts scoring. Boom! Just like that, it was 4-2 Dodgers!

Ohtani Seals It with a Homer! 🏹

The Tigers wouldn't go quietly, making it 4-3 with a homer from Torkelson in the 7th. But when we needed him most, Ohtani came up big again, launching a solo homer to give us a crucial cushion at 5-3!

Nail-Biting Finish 😬

Detroit kept pressuring, turning it into a one-run game in the 8th with a sacrifice fly. But the Dodgers bullpen held their nerve! The 9th inning was tense, with Blake Treinen closing it out for the win despite some baserunners. Whew!

Go Dodgers! 💙

An amazing game that reminded us exactly why we love Dodgers baseball—superb offense, thrilling moments, and a nail-biting finish. Let’s keep this momentum rolling Dodgers Nation! On to the next win! 🙌🎉
