Dominating Start by Judge
What a game, Yankees fans!
Relentless Offense
Fast forward to the bottom of the 2nd inning, Jazz Chisholm Jr. singled and made it to second thanks to a clutch steal. Ben Rice then drove him home with a double, and Jose Caballero turned it into a rally with another single, putting the Yankees up 3-1. But our team didn’t stop there. Aaron Judge went yard again in the 3rd inning with a 434-foot bomb. Not to be outdone, Giancarlo Stanton blasted a 429-footer to left, really showcasing the kind of power our lineup possesses.
In the 4th, the boys ramped it up another notch with contributions across the board. Rice and Caballero got on base, then Austin Slater and Cody Bellinger helped extend the lead. Chisholm Jr. added the cherry on top with a two-run single, leaving the Tigers reeling with a 9-1 lead. This Yankees lineup is a force to be reckoned with!

Closing It Out
The pitching staff didn’t waiver, controlling the Tigers’ offense for much of the game. Detroit managed just a couple more runs, one of which came off a homer by Dillon Dingler. However, those were minor blemishes on an otherwise stellar New York performance. Javier Báez did get a triple in the 9th, scoring on Gleyber Torres' ground-out, but the game had long been decided by that point. All in all, it was an excellent 9-3 win for the Yankees! This game was a prime example of our team's incredible talent and teamwork. Let’s keep this momentum going, Yanks!
