A Strong Start for the Tigers
Oh, what a game for our beloved Detroit Tigers!

Consistent Defense Shines
Our defense truly held the line throughout the game. By the bottom of the 3rd inning, Spencer Torkelson added another run with a powerful double to right, scoring Zach McKinstry who had previously singled and expertly stole second. The Mariners hoped to regain some ground but our pitching and fielding remained rock-solid as player after player from Seattle failed to make significant headway against our fierce lineup.Sealing the Victory in Style
Fast-forward to the top of the 8th, where Riley Greene continued his stellar performance, hammering a solo homer to left-center, extending our lead to 4-1. This remarkable display of power put the nail in the coffin for the Mariners. Even though Seattle’s Rowdy Tellez managed a sacrifice fly in the 7th to score Randy Arozarena, our boys kept them contained. A successful closing inning from Tommy Kahnle shut down any hopes of a comeback for the Mariners, ending the game at a well-deserved 4-1 victory for us Tigers fans.

This performance by the Tigers, mixing outstanding offense with a solid defensive strategy, offers great promise. Here's to more victories, Tigers fans! Let's keep the momentum going!
