A Tough Battle in the Desert 
Hey Diamondbacks fans! Despite the scorching desert heat, it was a chilly night for us as our Arizona Diamondbacks fell to the Houston Astros, 3-1. The game was a nail-biter, but unfortunately, the D-Backs couldn’t capitalize on their opportunities. 
Bright Moments in the Game 
We saw some great moments, especially with Corbin Carroll doubling to center in the 1st inning, flashing that speed we all know and love. Randal Grichuk had a fantastic night with his bat, doubling twice and adding a single in the 7th inning. In the 5th inning, Blaze Alexander grounded out to second but managed to bring in Randal Grichuk for our only run! Well done, Blaze! The Heart-Wrenching 8th and 9th Innings
Unfortunately, the heartbreaker came in the top of the 8th inning when the Astros' Brice Matthews homered to left, scoring two runs and putting Houston in the lead. The 9th inning didn’t help as the Astros added an insurance run with a wild pitch. We had a glimmer of hope with Josh Naylor, James McCann, and Geraldo Perdomo all reaching base, but a double play ended our chances. 
Looking Forward 
While tonight’s game was a tough one, our D-Backs never backed down. We’ll be back and ready for the next challenge! Keep supporting and believing, Diamondbacks fans. Let's bring that energy next time!
