A Rocky Start
The top of the 1st inning was rough for our Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles Fight Back
Despite the difficult start, our boys showed grit. Jackson Holliday and Jeremiah Jackson patiently secured walks, setting the stage for Gunnar Henderson, who singled, sending Holliday home. Colton Cowser then stepped up, clearing the bases with a clutch single. By the end of the 1st inning, we were back in it with a score of 5-3. The momentum continued into the 2nd inning, with Ryan Mountcastle driving in two more, leveling the game at 5-5.Trading Blows
Both teams exchanged a flurry of spectacular plays in the following innings. The Astros managed to regain their lead with a couple of runs in the 3rd, but Jeremiah Jackson blasted a solo homer in the 4th, keeping us within striking distance at 7-6. Not to be outdone, Colton Cowser tied things up with a solo blast of his own in the 5th inning
Astros Pull Ahead
The tension was electric as the Astros took a slight edge in the 7th inning, courtesy of a towering two-run homer by Christian Walker. With the score at 9-7, it was clear that this game would go down to the wire.Final Push Falls Short
In the 8th inning, Jeremiah Jackson came through again, driving in Dylan Beavers with a late rally to close the gap to 9-8. Alas, despite our spirited efforts and a nerve-wracking 9th inning, we couldn't manage another score.A Heartfelt Thanks
Even though we didn’t get the win, we’re incredibly proud of the comeback spirit shown by our beloved Orioles
