What a thrilling game at Fenway!
Our Boston Red Sox pulled off an impressive 7-3 victory over the Houston Astros. It's always special to see our Sox come through with a W, especially against a strong lineup like Houston's. The energy at Fenway was electric from the first pitch to the final out!González and Story Light It Up
Romy González set the tone early with a leadoff homer to center, showing the Astros that the Sox were here to play – and play to win! Not to be outdone, Trevor Story had a stellar performance at the plate, hammering a two-run homer in the third inning and later doubling in the seventh to bring home another run. This power display really provided the lift and momentum the team needed.
Toro's Clutch Moment and Dominant Pitching
Abraham Toro was fantastic with a two-run blast in the fourth, solidifying our lead and giving us that extra breathing room. The pitching staff did an outstanding job with key contributions from Matz, Whitlock, Hicks, and finishing strong with Chapman, who sealed the deal in the ninth! The combination of sharp pitching and timely hitting made all the difference.
