Electric Pitching Dominates!
It was a nail-biting game as our Chicago White Sox clinched a 2-0 win over the Houston Astros! From the very start, the pitchers were on fire. Notably, in the top of the 1st, we saw Altuve pop out to shortstop and Peña strike out swinging. The Astros couldn't get a rhythm going, and the White Sox capitalized on their defensive momentum. Our boy Andrew Vaughn also made his presence felt early with a single to right, although it was a quiet start offensively for both teams. 
Key Moments and Runs!
The action picked up in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Korey Lee walked, followed by a single from Danny Mendick. After a wild pitch advanced the runners, Tommy Pham walked to load the bases. That's when Andrew Vaughn came in clutch, grounding into a fielder's choice that allowed Lee to score. Our excitement didn't stop there! In the bottom of the 5th, Julks walked, and Lee walked to load the bases again. Another key play by Vaughn helped Julks score, giving us some breathing room with a 2-0 lead. 
Final Innings and the Big Win!
The suspense was palpable heading into the 9th inning. Despite a single from Singleton and Dubón, our pitcher stood tall. Brebbia came in to seal the deal and got Caratini to ground out to first, securing our triumphant 2-0 victory. The shutout was a testament to our rock-solid pitching and timely defensive plays. Major kudos to Andrew Vaughn for driving in both runs and our pitchers for keeping the Astros scoreless.
