A Tough Loss for Our Astros
Well, the game didn't quite go the way we wanted. Our Houston Astros took an unfortunate loss against the Detroit Tigers, with a final score of 7-2
A Rough Start
The game started off with some promising moments; Jeremy Peña got us going with a walk in the first, but not much else followed. Our defense struggled, allowing the Tigers to capitalize early. Detroit came out swinging in the bottom of the first inning, picking up a whopping six runs
A Glimmer of Hope
Not to be completely outdone, Mauricio Dubón provided a spark in the fourth inning with a two-run homer to right center, bringing the score to 7-2 and giving us a bit of hope
Defense Stepping Up
After the challenging start, both Dubin, De Los Santos, and VanWey came in for relief and did a remarkable job in holding the Tigers scoreless for the remaining innings. Our defense tightened, showing some solid plays, but the damage was done early on.Looking Forward
It's always hard to take a loss, especially with the expectations we have for our Astros, but it's just one game in the long season
Go Astros!
