A Strong Start and Finish from Our Astros
The Houston Astros put on a formidable show against the Miami Marlins, clinching an 8-2 victory! The game saw a slow start for both teams, but the Astros found their rhythm in the 4th inning and never looked back. Our offense shined, making key plays that ultimately led to a decisive win. The bats really started heating up in the top of the 4th. After a leadoff double from Jeremy Peña, Jesus Sánchez knocked him in with a double of his own. Jose Altuve followed with a bunt single, showing his speed and stealing second shortly after. Carlos Correa then singled, bringing Sánchez home and moving Altuve to third. On a smart fielder's choice, Altuve scored again, thanks to Christian Walker. Victor Caratini and Yainer Diaz joined the fun with hits that knocked in more runs, increasing our lead to 5-0.Defending Our Ground
While the Marlins attempted a comeback in the 7th inning with back-to-back homers, our bullpen held strong. Mauricio Dubón came in clutch in the 8th inning with a double that allowed Caratini to score, and Cam Smith singled to bring Dubón home. Our pitchers, including Abreu and Neris, sealed the game with solid performances ensuring the Marlins stayed off the scoreboard in the 9th.It was a great game, Astros fans!
